Public safety
Sensible, community-focused approach to public safety that addresses the real challenges facing our city, including prioritizing hiring and promoting police officers who come from the communities they serve.
Education
Focus on data-driven funding to improve the quality of our schools, elevate the voices of parents, and maximize the use of school buildings.
Housing
Reinvest in NYCHA buildings like the Red Hook Houses, with a focus on long-term repairs and climate resilience. Expand the number of Section 8 units.
Quality of life
Improve street lighting, sanitation, and public infrastructure on NYCHA grounds, public parks, and streets with low traffic, because clean, well-lit spaces are safer spaces. Improve transit and infrastructure to better connect our residents to opportunity.
